The search is not personal
In the spiritual or philosophical search for truth, enlightenment, love, or the sacred, there is always a sense of lack. That lack is taken personally. The person then thinks that the lack has something to do with itself. The lack is impersonal. The lack is simply an appearance taking place. It does not care whether the person is successful or unsuccessful in its search. The search is also impersonal. The search appears. It does not care whether the person is satisfied or unsatisfied. There is nothing else to it. The search for a cause, explanation, theory, or some symbol of truth are all appearing by itself. This is the causeless, which is creation. Creation happens not because of something else, because that would imply a creator. There is no creator, because a creator is always personal. In reality, nothing is personal. The creator takes on attributes of personal qualities because the creator is created by the person, as in the instances in mythologies across time and space. There is no creator, and creation simply is. Nothing is behind creation, and that is the mystery and omnipotence of creation. Everything is created in the instant.
When there is the perception that the search is not personal, the person cannot exist as a reality. Person is only the impersonal appearing as the personal. The person is an appearance, like everything. The qualities of the personal, such as selfishness, center, sorrow, suffering, and so on, are all the impersonal appearing as such. Their appearances do not care about the person, because there is no person to care about. There is nothing behind the personal, because the personal is only an appearance. All phemonema are appearing, and there is nothing behind it. This is the nothing abiding and everything appearing. Nothing is seeing. The image of the person has no personal qualities. The feeling of the center has no personal qualities.
The mystery of life is incomprehensible. Life is causeless. The causeless is mysterious, because no cause can be attribute to it, yet it is so. The beauty of creation then stands revealed. Comprehension is the mysterious appearing as the comprehensible, whereas the comprehension has no cause. It simply arises. This is total order, or cosmic order as one could call it. The intelligence of the cosmos, which is the wisdom of the origin of life, is beyond any comprehension or calculation, because any calculation is only the arising of such intelligence as form and concepts. The search is in vain. Creation, the origin of all life, stand in what is. There is no path. Truth is truly a pathless land.
